Many misting system integrators are looking for copper fittings and copper tubes for their new High pressure misting system. Why is this? There are three reasons why copper fittings are more popular than nylon:
- copper fittings can withstand higher pressure above 100 bar (1450 psi pressure),
- copper tubes have a longer life in permanent structures
- Copper fittings for misting and fogging are sturdy and less prone to corrosion.
- Excellent resistance to heat especially in hot working environment.
These four points make it clear that if you want the best misting system on the market today, then you need to use quality materials like those found in copper misting systems fittings and tubes!
Even though high pressure nylon tubes are way economical than copper tubes, Nylon tubes in hot working conditions and exposure to heat and sunlight will reduce the life of nylon tubes.
Nylon tubes have the tendency to fail in hot weathers and copper fittings can withstand higher pressure above 100 bar (1450 psi) which is missing in nylon tubes.
Permanent structures also demand copper tubing because copper has longer life than brass or Nylon.
This means you will save money by using copper for your misting system instead of high-pressure nylon!
