HIGH PRESSURE MIST & FOG NOZZLE

MIST NOZZLE AND FOG NOZZLE MANUFACTURERS IN INDIA

Truemist is a manufacturer and supplier of mist nozzles in India. We offer a wide variety of mist nozzles designed, manufactured, tested, and deployed based on application requirements. Our mist nozzles can be customized for connection size, flow rate, and material. Options include brass and stainless-steel bodies with SS or ceramic orifice—selected as per site conditions and performance targets.

Types of mist nozzle

High Pressure Mist Nozzle

  • High Pressure Mist Nozzles – 0.2 mm with 10/24” threaded connection
  • Orifice size: 0.2 mm
  • Thread: 10/24”
  • Expected droplet size: 30 to 50 microns

These are ideal when you need a finer, more airborne mist effect for efficient cooling and controlled performance.

Low Pressure Mist Nozzles

For applications where a simpler setup and lower operating pressure is preferred, Truemist also offers low-pressure mist nozzle options.

  • Low Pressure Nozzle Connection Sizes (available options): 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2” (Custom connections can be supported based on requirement.)
  • Orifice selection (low pressure):
Orifice size is selected based on operating pressure and required droplet size/output.
  • Expected droplet size: 50 to 100 microns (depending on nozzle/orifice and pressure)

Low pressure setups are commonly chosen where practical cooling/humidity addition is needed and installation simplicity is a priority.

How to Choose the Right mist nozzle for cooling

Choosing the right misting nozzle size is essential for achieving effective cooling, dust control, or humidification based on your application and environment.
Decide the required droplet range

1.High pressure (30–50 microns): finer, more airborne mist; strong evaporation-first cooling

2.Low pressure (50–100 microns): practical mist output; more sensitive to placement and cycle timing
Match nozzle to your pressure capability

1.Higher pressure generally produces finer droplets (more “fog-like” effect)

2.Lower pressure typically produces larger droplets (requires conservative layout control)
Select based on Application

1.Greenhouses & agriculture: fine mist selection to avoid over-wetting crops

2.Outdoor cooling: select output based on climate (dry vs humid) and airflow

3.Industrial cooling / odor control / dust: choose flow/output based on coverage and process requirement
Test & Adjust

Start with one size and observe performance. You can fine-tune by switching to a larger or smaller orifice nozzle, or adjusting pump pressure.

Mist  Cooling Nozzle Maintenance & Cleaning

  • Clogged nozzles caused by calcium buildup can be cleaned by soaking them in our nozzle cleaner. Let them soak for 30 minutes to one hour, rinse them thoroughly, and re-install them into the system. Our mister nozzles are designed to be easily disassembled for cleaning and flushing out debris.
  • To reduce the risk of future clogging, we recommend adding a scaling filter to your misting pump.

Applications of Mist & Fogging Nozzles

Our mist nozzles and fogging nozzles are used in a wide range of industries for cooling, humidification, dust suppression, and sanitation. Applications include:
Industrial Cooling
• Temperature reduction in factories, warehouses, and workshops
• Effective for metal processing, textiles, and plastic molding units
Agriculture & Greenhouses
• Maintain optimal humidity levels
• Prevent plant wilting and heat stress
• Even moisture distribution without overwatering
Dust Suppression
• Used in construction sites, mining, and cement plants
• Helps control airborne particles and improve air quality
Outdoor Cooling
• For patios, outdoor dining, events, and theme parks
• Creates a comfortable environment in hot and dry climates
Disinfection & Sanitization
• Used in fogging tunnels, livestock farms, and public spaces
• Delivers fine disinfectant mist to cover surfaces evenly
Animal Cooling
• Dairy farms, poultry sheds, and stables
• Helps reduce heat stress and improve productivity

Benefits of Mist Nozzles

Fast cooling through evaporation: Fine droplets evaporate quickly, reducing air temperature without soaking surfaces.
Better comfort in outdoor and industrial areas: Creates a noticeable cooling effect in hotspots like walkways, work zones, patios, and queues.
Supports humidity control: Helps maintain moisture levels in greenhouses, polyhouses, and process areas where dry air is a problem.
Reduces dust and airborne particles: Captures fine dust in construction, mining, warehouses, and material handling zones.
Improves air quality and working conditions: Lowers heat stress and helps create a more breathable environment in high-temperature areas.
More uniform coverage with the right nozzle/orifice: Consistent spray pattern helps avoid uneven misting and localized wet patches.
Flexible for different setups: Works in both high-pressure (finer droplets) and low-pressure (practical output) systems depending on need.
Lower water wastage when controlled: When used with proper spacing and duty cycles, it delivers effective cooling with efficient water use.
Long service life with proper filtration: Good filtration and cleanable designs reduce clogging and keep performance stable over time.

FAQs About Fogger Nozzles and Mist cooling nozzle

What is the difference between a mist nozzle and a fog nozzle?

Both terms are often used interchangeably, but generally:
- Mist nozzles produce larger droplets (~30–100 microns) and are ideal for cooling.
- Fog nozzles create ultra-fine droplets (<30 microns), used for humidification and dust control.

What size misting nozzle should I use?

It depends on the application and climate:
0.1–0.15 mm for humid areas and indoor fogging
0.2 mm for outdoor cooling in dry areas
0.3 mm+ for high-flow, industrial use cases

Can I use tap water with mist nozzles?

Yes, but we highly recommend using a filtration system to prevent clogging due to mineral build-up. For hard water areas, a scaling filter is essential.

How do I clean a clogged misting nozzle?

Soak the nozzle in a descaling solution or nozzle cleaner for 30–60 minutes
- Rinse with clean water
- Reinstall after drying
Our nozzles are designed for easy disassembly and cleaning.

Do you provide full misting systems or only nozzles?

We offer complete misting systems in India, including pumps, filters, tubing, and fittings — not just the nozzles.

What is the thread size of your mist nozzles?

Our standard is 10/24, but we also offer 12/24 and custom threads on request.
